With this method of fastening, it is important to correctly mark the rods on the wall and on the shelf;
- hidden hinges are used to fix long shelves made of wood or chipboard. It is important to select fasteners of such dimensions that the hinges do not protrude from the bottom or top of the shelf.
Shelves with hidden fastenings seem weightless and can visually expand the space. They fit organically into bedrooms decorated in a modern or minimalist, high-tech style.
Traditional (outdoor) installation
It is advisable to use this method of fixing shelves if the fasteners fit into the interior of the room or are considered as decorative design elements. Fastening elements are available in such different types and designs that it is easy to choose them for a shelf above the bed in a bedroom decorated in modern, shabby chic, loft, Provence, and country styles.
Fixing products involves the use of various devices (brackets, corners, hinges). Fastening elements are made of different materials (metal, wood, plastic). A special advantage of such parts is their ability to withstand significant loads (up to approximately 50 kg).
