We are studying Teplodar stoves for baths and saunas. Review and features of a famous manufacturer

It just so happened that since ancient times in Russia, bath procedures have been almost the calling card of the country.

The tradition of taking a steam bath has survived to this day: many owners of country houses initially consider the possibility of installing a bathhouse on their property as something self-evident.

But making a purchase without evaluating the offer - that is, the market, and focusing on the cheapness of stoves of unknown production is not the best idea.

You can consider yourself a fairly experienced manufacturer.

The presence of retail stores, as well as online stores, provides a convenient selection of products, assembled in our country and with controlled quality.

“Rus” is a worthy choice for any bathhouse attendant

This reliable stove with a rectangular firebox has an open heater that can hold up to 105 kg of stones. It is perfect for steam rooms with a volume of 4 to 18 cubic meters. Thanks to the presence of a combined converter casing and high-speed steam generator, a stable balance of temperature and air humidity is achieved, which will appeal to any steam room lover.

In addition, the choice of modifications with an extended or shortened combustion channel, as well as the possibility of installing gas burners, offers many options for its location depending on the characteristics of your bath.

Another feature of this model is the ability to order the design of the door covering the fuel chamber. You can choose from regular steel or heat-resistant glass, which will give the stove the appearance of a fireplace.

Bath stove “Rus Panorama”

This stove model has a fireplace door, which allows you to use it as a fireplace and enjoy the play of flames from the living room. The steam generator consists of several sections, which allows you to achieve the ideal temperature and humidity levels, accurate to the degree and percentage of humidity. The body is made of mirror steel, which gives the stove a beautiful aesthetic appearance. This stove needs to be cleaned 2-3 times a year. This teplodar stove has several modifications that differ in the volume of the room and the weight of the stones.

"Sahara" - a unique model with a steam generator

“Sahara” is a truly unique model in which the manufacturer was able to combine many advantages necessary for a Russian bath. The design of the stove does not have sharp corners, which will undoubtedly appeal to followers of the teachings of Feng Shui, and the two-chamber heater, which allows the stones to be heated simultaneously from 5 sides, will ensure their uniform and rapid heating.

In addition, this model provides the possibility of installing a multi-section steam generator that can “organize” a good steam after just 20 minutes of firing the stove, which can be very useful if you do not have much time allotted for a bath.

Design Features

Scheme of a wood-burning stove "Teplodar" for a bath

It is not for nothing that these stoves have won the hearts of many sauna lovers: they have several features that have a positive effect on their characteristics:

  • The main parts of the firebox are made of two to four millimeter sheets of stainless steel containing at least 13% chromium. In areas of greatest load, steel with a 17% alloy metal content is used. This is the only manufacturer in Russia that produces such thick-walled stainless steel stoves.
  • The perforated steel convector casing promotes rapid heating of air and stones. But for heating, a minimum of fuel is used.
  • The built-in steam generator can produce light steam within half an hour after the stove starts firing. This allows you to create a humidity regime characteristic of a Russian bath (not all models are equipped with it).
  • Dispenser taps on the water tank allow you to control the water supply to the heater and control the level of humidity in the room.
  • Almost all fuel units can be retrofitted with a gas burner (if there is an extended firebox). This option is convenient if it is possible to connect to the main gas pipeline.
  • The average sauna readiness time is 50 minutes.

"Siberia" is an ideal option for Finnish sauna lovers

Siberia at work

Teplodar Siberia

Designed for heating rooms up to 20 square meters. m. Siberia stove will be able to warm up your sauna to a temperature of 120 degrees within half an hour. At the same time, the low humidity combined with the high temperature that this model creates will allow you to feel the effect of a real Finnish sauna of a classic look. In addition, the Siberia Panorama modification, equipped with a door made of heat-resistant glass, is available for sale. This option allows you to feel like you are sitting in front of the fireplace.

Reviews of Teplodar stoves

Most often in positive reviews about Teplodar stoves you can find opinions that can be briefly combined on some similar points:

  • the units have a reliable and fairly simple design;
  • variety of choice of models for different modes of steam baths and saunas;

An example of installing a furnace with an external fuel channel

  • quickly heat the steam room and water to the desired temperature;
  • long service life and trouble-free operation;
  • spectacular appearance of mesh ovens;
  • convenient and efficient steam generator;
  • there is no need to equip the chimney with additional valves, since the ash pan regulates air access to the firebox;
  • the central placement of the chimney suits most: it is easier to make the ceiling cut;
  • a decent combination of price and quality when compared with foreign analogues.

Let’s say right away that there are no sharply negative reviews about Teplodar stoves, but there are some disadvantages that are mentioned in them:

  • one owner about the low location of the firebox door, and the other about the close location of the chimney to the fuel channel (for this reason it was necessary to take it away from the wall), about steam due to strong air convection;
  • there are reviews about asymmetrically installed and offset doors on stoves, low-quality and narrowed chimneys (instead of the promised 115 mm 113 mm);
  • There are complaints about heat exchanger registers, which, according to some owners, are unreliable and leak quite quickly, but they are very difficult to repair.

As you can see, the comments are not critical. When deciding on a specific stove model, start with what kind of heater you need - open, closed, or maybe combined? And after that, taking into account the size of the steam room and personal preferences, you can easily determine several suitable options.

"Siberian Cliff" - unique design and maximum efficiency

Possessing a high heating rate, the Siberian Cliff heater is one of the best models representing the design of a mesh stove. The stones for the stove in this modification are located around the firebox in a special forged mesh. This allows the top stones to warm up much better than in other models.

Excellent convection, obtained due to the presence of free space between the fuel channel and the stones, helps to achieve the effect of a Finnish sauna with heating temperatures of up to 140 degrees. Thanks to the large volume of stones, the steam in the room is light and comfortable for the body to perceive. Agree, this will be highly appreciated by ordinary lovers and real gourmets of couples procedures.

A convection-ventilated heater, a built-in steam generator and an unusual appearance will help this model not only decorate your sauna, but also give you maximum pleasure while steaming.

Installation of the Teplodar stove

Teplodar has its own recommendations for each stove. For clarity, we present the installation diagrams for the Sahara 10 oven. It is important to follow some recommendations when placing the heating unit:

Installation diagram of one of the Teplodar stoves. Recommendations are included in every passport

  • the safe distance from the fuel unit to walls made of combustible materials should be at least 500 mm to the sides and back, 1250 mm forward and 1200 mm up, but when using a brick screen, this distance can be reduced by 4 times with a gap of 30 mm to combustible surfaces;
  • a brick screen is installed 5 cm above the stove;
  • In front of the combustion door, the floor of combustible materials should be protected with an iron sheet.

The Siesta sauna stove is a true multifunctional device

It can easily heat a steam room with a volume of up to 20 cubic meters. At the same time, it will give you the opportunity to admire the burning fire in the relaxation room through the fireplace door made of heat-resistant glass. Real relaxation.

In addition, the device is equipped with a built-in steam generator, an Anti-Smoke system and dampers located in the chimney and door, allowing you to regulate the intensity of combustion.

For the user

Regarding safety precautions: children are allowed to use the device after instructions and a clear example. In addition, the manufacturer himself highlights the following advantages of his stoves:

  1. Wonderful, modern appearance of the block. Will suit any room according to its design. All parts of the case are made of high-quality stainless steel with a special heat-resistant coating.
  2. Any model is implemented with documentation. That is, the block is required to have a quality certificate confirming the degree of safety and SanPiN standards. The unit is allowed to be installed in commercial establishments (private baths or saunas).
  3. Mobility. Light weight and small dimensions make it easy to move any stove to the desired location for heating.
  4. There is a simple and clear instruction manual with connection diagrams and background information.

"Domna" - combined wood-burning stove

Like the Kuban, the Domna stove is equipped with two heaters, and it has a fairly decent height, which is how it got its name. The temperature of the stones of the internal heater is adjusted using a special door, and liquid is supplied from the water tank through a funnel and dispenser.

In addition to the above, this model has a combined convector, the side walls of which are made of mesh, and the back and front are made of solid metal, which gives it a rather exotic look. This model is capable of warming up a room with a volume of up to 25 cubic meters. meters in 35-50 minutes. Gas-burning devices can also be installed on the stoves of the Domna model range (with the exception of the modification with a panoramic door near the firebox). Residents of gasified areas will highly appreciate this advantage.

How to heat the Teplodar stove

It is necessary to heat the stove for the first time for at least 1 hour with the windows and doors of the bathhouse open. In this case, the firebox load should be maximum, the heater should be empty, and the water tank should be full. During the first heating, the technological compounds and oils that were used in the production process burn out.

After the oven has cooled down, drain the water from the tank and ventilate the room. After the oven has completely cooled down, you can load the stones into the heater.

During further operation, follow the rules:

  • melt using dry small wood chips or birch bark when loading 2/3 of the firebox volume;
  • during combustion, place firewood on the grate, and not on the combustion channel (if the modification has an external firebox);
  • do not burn construction waste with paint and varnish coating, plastic, rubber and other materials that emit harmful substances;
  • after good draft appears and half of the stored fuel has burned out, additionally fill the firebox to 2/3 of the volume and completely open the ash pan;
  • after the room has warmed up, cover the ash pan and use 2-3 logs per pad to maintain the temperature: in this mode, the water, stones and air in the bathhouse will “keep” their temperature;
  • After completing the bath procedures, you should heat the stove again and dry the room by opening the door and ventilation windows.

Attention! For safety reasons, when throwing in the next batch of firewood, you must first completely close the ash pan, and then carefully open the firebox door.

  2. Acceptable price. Among the models of Teplodar stoves there is a device for every taste and budget.
  3. Wide range of models. Every bath lover will be able to choose a stove to their liking.

Model range and scope of use

Domestic manufacturer Teplodar produces heating equipment with more than a hundred modifications

Domestic offers high-quality and relatively inexpensive heating equipment, as well as units that create the desired microclimate in the bathhouse and sauna. The assortment is rich - more than a hundred modifications. This makes it possible to choose the most effective option depending on the size of the room and the type of fuel available. For example, to provide heat in a dacha, a small stove is enough, and for two-story cottages, long-burning boilers with a Teplodar water circuit are suitable. For steam rooms and saunas, you can also choose a suitable model that creates the desired conditions for relaxation.

Quartz heaters are not produced by Teplodar, but by another company with a similar name, “TeplaDar”.

Heating boiler Kupper PRO 22

When choosing a suitable unit, please note that the numbers on the markings of stoves for home and bath options indicate the number of square meters of the heated room.

Numbers on boilers indicate power. When selecting a model for a house in a temperate climate, to find out the number of heated squares, the specified data must be multiplied by 10.

For example, the Cooper Pro-22 unit is capable of heating a cottage with an area of 220 square meters. The “Laguna-12” or “Rus-18” stoves will heat a bathhouse of 12 and 18 square meters, respectively. If the marking contains the word “Pro,” this indicates an increased resource.

Stoves for home

Depending on the modification, the Matrix stove model is capable of heating from 70 to 200 square meters

The popular Teplodar stove models in this category are “Matrix”, “Top Model” and “Vertical”. They are equipped with two- and three-turn combustion chambers, which significantly reduces heating time. The first two models can operate in continuous combustion mode due to the built-in afterburners. This makes it possible to save on fuel. One batch will last for eight hours.

“Matrix” is suitable for fairly large houses - such stoves are capable of heating, depending on the modification, a room with an area of 70–200 square meters. They are equipped with convector casings for uniform heating and protection from infrared radiation.

Heating stoves of the T series from "Teplodar" are used to heat the house, as well as to provide heat in the garage, on the veranda, in outbuildings at subzero temperatures outside. Heating can be adjusted using the ash pan.

In most models, chimneys can be routed up or from the back, which is sometimes necessary when the room area is insufficient.

Some Teplodar stoves are equipped with hobs on which you can cook food or sterilize homemade products in the country. To convert a wood-burning unit into a gas unit, you can equip it with a special burner.

Stoves and fireplaces

Wood burning fireplace Rumba

Such devices heat the room and create an intimate, cozy atmosphere. Teplodar fireplace stoves are equipped with heat-resistant glass in the door - flat or volumetric.

The following models are successful:

  • "Quadrille". Equipped with a stainless steel firebox, which is hidden behind a decorative convector. It makes the device more beautiful and helps heat the room faster. Equipped with a hob hidden behind a decorative cover.
  • "Tango trio" Its advantage is its three-sided fireproof glass inserts, which allows you to safely enjoy the sight of a live flame.
  • "Rumba". The stove looks luxurious due to the large voluminous glass.

The first two models are equipped with compartments for convenient storage of firewood.

Devices for baths and saunas

Stainless Steel Sugar Oven

All Teplodar bath and sauna stoves are equipped with a stainless steel firebox, which makes them safe and durable.

The manufacturer offers stoves:

  • For the Finnish sauna: “Sahara”, “Panorama”, “Siberia”. Their features are a reinforced heater bottom and a large area of heaters. Thanks to this, the units quickly produce dry heat and are not damaged even at the highest temperatures.
  • For a Russian bath: “Rus”, “Siesta”, “Taman”, “Laguna”, “Cascade”. They are equipped with special steam generators. Such Teplodar bathhouse stoves heat the room without loss of humidity.
  • With perforated convector: “Rus-grid”, “Domna-grid”, “Sibirsky Utes”. Such sauna stoves were created by engineers using special technology. The perforated heater allows you to quickly provide heat in the steam room thanks to the circulation of hot air.

The buyer can choose a device with a closed or combined heater. They create light steam due to the significant heating of the stones - up to 650 degrees.

Heating boilers

Heating boiler Uyut is an excellent option for cottages and small houses

When choosing a Teplodar heating boiler, you should pay attention to modifications of the three main models:

  • "Kupper." These devices are universal and can operate on different solid fuels. Their power varies depending on the modification. There are units capable of heating a large house with an area of up to 300 square meters. The “Kupper OK” option is popular, warming a room of up to 200 square meters. Additionally, the boilers are equipped with automatic power control and control panels that connect to the built-in electric heater.
  • "Kupper PRO". Also referred to as universal devices. They are distinguished by a longer burning time - up to eight hours from one bookmark due to an additional door for air flow and a special grate. System automation is possible. The heating element allows you to maintain the temperature of the coolant in the heating circuit if the fuel has decayed. There are modifications for larger houses. "Kupper PRO-42" is capable of heating a room of 420 square meters.
  • "Cosiness". Inexpensive option for small houses and cottages. Sometimes it is installed as a backup heating device. It is equipped with a large horizontal combustion chamber, which allows you to use long boards and large logs for kindling.

If desired, any boiler can be equipped with a gas or pellet burner, as well as an automatic regulator. The heating circuit can be connected both on the right and on the left, which makes installation easier. There are models that include a hob, for example, “Kupper OVK”.

Results

When choosing between buying or making your own, it is better to think about safety than about the money saved. After all, 1-2 thousand in revenue cannot be used to repair a burnt-out ceiling or low heating of the fuel tank.

It’s worth spending money on a factory stove, and you need to do this strictly with the calculation of the usable area for a specific room. It’s also worth remembering about the additional “features” of some models. For example, stoves with converters and different types of heaters are put on sale not to attract customers, but for comfort, service and convenient operation.

Product advantages

The advantage of Teplodar heating equipment is the speed and uniformity of heating

Each Teplodar heater has its own advantages, but the equipment of this brand has common advantages:

  • targeted selection;
  • increased efficiency;
  • fuel economy;
  • safety due to protective covers and self-cooling doors;
  • ease of transportation due to compactness and ergonomics;
  • speed and uniformity of heating.

There are options for long-term heating, as well as those equipped with hobs and panoramic fireplace doors. Important advantages are ease of operation and relatively low price.

All these advantages have made Teplodar units popular, which is confirmed by the emergence of new models and positive reviews from owners.
