DIY stand for buleryan

Main characteristics

The design takes up little space and does not require a lot of heating raw materials. Every year it is gaining more and more popularity because:

  • It has a compact size and light weight.
  • Heats up the room quickly. Room of 30 sq. m is heated by the stove in just half an hour.
  • Has low energy consumption. The wood in it burns gradually, so you don’t need to constantly add it. One full-fledged bookmark is enough for 10 hours of oven operation.

Despite all the thoughtfulness of the stove, it has several disadvantages:

  1. Presence of soot. Since some combustion products enter the chimney, it must be at least three meters.
  2. When using the oven, a slight unpleasant odor may occur.
  3. Constant adjustment. In order to keep the room warm and ensure the firewood smolders slowly, the damper must be constantly adjusted.
  4. Dust combustion. When the furnace operates, the metal heats up and the dust that settles on it burns. As a result, this makes the air musty and provokes the development of an unpleasant odor.

But experts say that the advantages of the stove are more significant than its disadvantages.

To get the maximum effect from it, you need to buy a model that matches the size of your home. It is also important to take the chimney outside and make a special stand. To save money, you can do it yourself.

Buleryan

What is the stand for?

Most experts advise making sure you have a stand before installing the stove. This element is very important because it performs the following serious functions:

  • increases the circulation of air flows and increases the efficiency of the firebox;
  • improves the loading of solid heating materials into the chamber;
  • makes the system safe according to fire requirements;
  • is a decorative element for storing firewood;
  • makes it easier to clean the firebox from accumulations of soot and ash.

Stand for the Buleryan stove
The correct operation of the stove depends on these five functions of the stand, so they cannot be ignored. If the air circulates poorly, the system will not be able to fully heat the house. If fire safety is not ensured, the room may catch fire. Because of this, experts advise taking the installation of the stand element very seriously.

How does the Buleryan stove work?

The functioning of the combustion unit in this design is vaguely similar to the operation of a gas boiler.
The firebox consists of a pair of chambers. In the first chamber, the fuel slowly smolders, forming unburnt gases. They burn out in the next chamber, which ensures forced air supply through installed nozzles. How to make buleryan

Thanks to “double” combustion, almost no waste is left, and the efficiency exceeds 80%.

There are three possible methods for adjusting the temperature:

  • using a gate (regulator) installed on the door;
  • by means of a damper attached to the chimney;
  • a combination of the two previous methods, which allows you to comprehensively control the air supply.
    How does the Buleryan stove work?

As already noted at the beginning of the article, one of the design features of the “buleryan” can be called special tubes, recessed into the combustion chamber by two-thirds of their diameter. This ensures quick heating of the room.

Such ovens perform two functions at once:

  • quickly heats the air to the required temperature;
  • maintain this temperature for a long time.

Moreover, they do not dry out the air and do not become hot during operation.

How to choose the right one, price

The stand raises the stove to a certain height from the floor, so the air circulates well in the room. In addition, it makes using the installation more convenient and safe.

Figure stand

If you are buying a stand, then pay special attention to the quality of the metal that was used to make it. Iron and steel models are considered the most durable.

Note! The stove and stand must be the right size, otherwise the air layers will not mix properly.

As a rule, the cost of a stand depends on its size and material of manufacture. A standard iron one will cost no more than five thousand rubles. But many consumers make it themselves, which can significantly save the family budget.

How to install correctly

In order for the system to work correctly and you get the maximum result from it, it must be installed correctly. Place the stove at a certain distance from the floor and walls so as not to block the path of air flow.

Correct location of the stove

First you need to choose the place where you will place the stand with the firebox. They should not be placed on wooden or linoleum floors as this is a fire hazard. Pre-make a cement or brick podium. Then proceed with the installation:

  1. Remove all debris and dust from the stove area.
  2. Calculate the distance from the walls to minimize the likelihood of a fire while using the system.
  3. After installing the stand, check it several times for stability.
  4. After making sure that the stand does not move, place the oven on it.
  5. Check the stability of the entire system several more times.
  6. Secure the chimney and lay the first firebox.

Brick stand
The stove is very easy to install, so calling specialists is not necessary. But if you doubt that you will do everything right, it is better to use professional services.

Important! Before starting use, be sure to make sure that the stove is positioned correctly and that there are no holes in the chimney.

Installation instructions

In order for this unique heating system to function correctly, heat the room well and have maximum efficiency, it is very important to install it correctly. Leave a certain distance not only from the floor to the firebox, but also to the walls - this will allow air flows to be active. The most effective position of Buleryan is proposed in this diagram:

Therefore, first you select the place where the stand and the firebox installed on it will be located. It is forbidden to install the heating system on floors made of linoleum or wood; in this case, an additional podium made of mortar or brick will be required. Once you have decided on the location, you can begin installation:

  1. Prepare the place for the stove, clearing it of debris and dust,
  2. The distance from the walls is calculated so that a fire cannot occur during operation of the system,
  3. The stand is installed stably, it is better to check the base for stability several times,
  4. Once you are sure that the base is firmly in place, install the structure of the furnace itself on it,
  5. Once again check the stability of the assembled system,
  6. Attach the chimney - lay the first firebox,

The Bullerjan design is quite easy to install, so it is not necessary to call specialists, but if you are worried about the correct installation, you can invite professionals. Before starting operation, make sure that the stove is installed correctly, that the stand holds it well, and that there are no holes in the chimney. We make it ourselves

If you haven't found a suitable stand, you can make one at home. Brick or iron are suitable for this, but the second option is more common. The stand is made from scraps of reinforcement welded together.

Required Tools

During your work you will use:

  • welding machine and attached components;
  • electrodes;
  • measuring devices;
  • Bulgarian

Materials used

You will make the stand itself from reinforcement, profiles or metal corners. When buying hardware, try to buy good stuff.

Step-by-step description of production

The most important stage in making a stand yourself is taking the exact dimensions of the stove and making the correct drawing. This procedure is the most difficult and affects not only the correct installation of the heating system, but also its functioning.

The design and type of stand depends on the type of stove, its weight, length and width. The best option is a stand with a height of forty centimeters. This size helps the system draw in air faster and circulate air flow throughout the room. For the legs, use metal corners rather than fittings, which are more suitable for the frame. Some models of the Buleryan stove work well on a stand 20 centimeters high, but experts advise making 40 centimeters.

Having completed the drawing, you can begin making the stand:

  1. Weld the frame using pre-prepared pieces of reinforcement.
  2. Make another frame - the base. Its size should be symmetrically larger by 5-15 centimeters (this depends on the height of the legs).
  3. Connect the two frames using four corners and fittings, welding them at the corners.
  4. To make the structure more rigid, weld the jumpers.
  5. Treat the structure with primer and fire-resistant paint.

To reduce the likelihood of a fire developing, place a low pedestal of bricks (2-3 rows up) at the location of the firebox. When it is ready, you can place the stand with the firebox.

If the design of the house allows, the stand can be made of brick. In such a situation, installing Buleryan is much simpler.

What materials will you need?

To make a stand for Buleryan you can use the following materials:

  • pipes of various thicknesses;
  • channel;
  • corner.

In this case, we will use the corner.

You will also need the following tools:

  • electric welding machine;
  • electrodes;
  • Bulgarian.

The structure can also be strengthened with pieces of reinforcement that are welded between the main load-bearing members. Their length should correspond to the length and width of the stand. You can decorate the structure with decorative forged elements, if possible.

Recommendations for using the stove

Cover the floor covering under the firebox door with a durable metal sheet 50*70 centimeters.

Metal sheet

The stove works thanks to the optimized fuel combustion process that occurs in it. Therefore, when operating it, it is important to strictly comply with the requirements for chimney installation. For standard models you need to make a five-meter chimney. For more powerful structures - a seven-meter chimney.

If the stove smokes a little during operation, you need to check the draft. Most likely, it is insufficient.

Place the oven at a distance of 0.6 meters from materials that easily catch fire. Before lighting the stove or putting wood in it, check that the smoke damper and regulator are fully open. Now you can stow the fuel. After twenty minutes of burning, the structure will go into smoldering mode.

You can throw any solid fuel into the firebox.
