Bath complexes and features of their design

Bath complexes for business

Commercial baths have been and remain a profitable type of business, despite the fact that new establishments of this kind are constantly opening in large and small cities, offering a wide range of services.

A private bathhouse as a business idea offers enormous possibilities for choosing a business format.

The main advantage of wooden log houses is their environmental friendliness. A wooden bathhouse made from a log house has a much larger surface area than other materials. This material also has more healing properties, because it releases more phytoncides. In addition, logs from a log house are subject to the minimum possible processing. In our catalog you will find modern bathhouse designs for running a business.

The bath business is directly related to the positive emotions of the client. Therefore, even the most experienced marketer will not be able to predict in advance whether a sauna as a business will be profitable, or whether it is profitable in given specific conditions.

The most in demand are bathhouse projects that have expanded functionality - bathhouse complexes that include a swimming pool, bar or cafe, billiard room, massage parlors, etc. In recent years, a new trend has been gaining momentum - establishments with bedrooms, often located on the attic or second floor, combining the functions of a bathhouse and a guest house.

First you need to draw up a detailed business plan for this type of activity.

The purpose of the business plan: calculation of economic, production and marketing parameters for the construction of a bath complex to confirm its economic efficiency and attract financing.

The business plan contains aggregated data on the project, reflects the concept of the project and is a technical specification for the development of project documentation and further development, taking into account the requirements of the bank, authorities, and partners.

The profitability of a bathhouse business depends on a number of factors, including the range of services that your establishment will provide. Services can include pre-booking, massage therapist and bathhouse attendant services, rental and sale of bath accessories.

Design features of a cottage with a garage in Chelyabinsk: warmth, silence and tranquility

“The technologies tested at the previous facility will not fail now,” we decided. Only the foundation base was decided to use a powerful, reliable grillage on stilts, comfortable ceramic bricks for the walls, and light and durable metal tiles of an exquisite dark shade for the multi-pitched roof.

True, we increased the thickness of the walls to 380 mm, planning to lay one and a half bricks: this approach, combined with the use of external thermal insulation, will allow maintaining an acceptable microclimate in the cottage during the cold season, and without much damage to the family “energy budget.” In addition, the walls of one and a half bricks practically do not let external noise into the house, and this is an important condition for home comfort.

For the exterior decoration of our cottage with a swimming pool, terrace and garage, we chose win-win materials previously tested in the bathhouse: thermowood, decorative plaster and concrete stone on the base and corners of the walls. Thanks to this design, we get a single harmonious ensemble on the site, into which, if necessary, it will be easy to fit other buildings.

Hammam

Turkish public bath. It got its name from the Arabic word “ham”, which translated meant “hot”. To heat them, a large vat of water is used. The water is brought to a boil.

The steam formed when water was heated through special channels located inside the walls of the room moved into the steam room, thereby heating it.

Such baths have always been distinguished by their rich decoration. A visit to the hammam was a whole ritual for a Turkish person.

These baths with hammam and Russian steam room are similar. Even in ancient times, the Prophet Muhammad said: “Cleanliness is half of faith.”

Therefore, visiting the bathhouse was at least once a week. Different hammams were built for men and women.

These were two separate buildings that shared the same communications systems. If the developer had limited space and did not have enough finances to build two steam rooms at once, then one room was built. In this version, special visiting days were allocated for the male and female population. Every Turkish man was required to let his woman go to the bathhouse once a week. After all, for them such events were part of social life.

Information. Before visiting, the women held a whole ceremony. They dressed up in their finest attire. They often took with them various confectionery products. While drinking coffee drinks with the sweets they brought, the women talked about life and gossiped. Such gatherings could last all day.

What is the main difference between the hammam and other baths? The air temperature in such a room reached 30 – 55 degrees Celsius. For those who could not stand the heat at all, this was a great place for recovery. To visit the hammam correctly, you had to do the following step by step:

  1. First, the body was warmed up in a special room, it was called “warm”, until the first sweat appeared;
  2. Next, using special massage mittens made of wool and aromatic oils, the whole body was kneaded for complete relaxation;
  3. To cleanse the skin, a special multi-component soap was used;
  4. After the procedures, we took a shower and swam in a pool with cool water to consolidate the effect.

The hammam itself consists of three rooms. The first one is called jamekan. There is a locker room in it. If a tribute to tradition was taken into account during the construction of the room, then you can see a fountain located in the center. The next room is Sogukluk. In a Russian bath this is what is called a washing room. There is a bathroom and shower here. The last room is the hararet.

This is the steam room itself. The seating here is made of marble.

The temperature maintained in the room is easy to tolerate.

In the middle there is a “belly stone”, the so-called firebox, which heats the room.

Additionally, in the same room there may be a swimming pool, which is called a kurna.

Organizational and legal issues of opening a bathhouse

In order to start working, you will need to register with government agencies. The ownership form of either an individual entrepreneur or an LLC will suit you, but the second option will be more preferable if you plan to sell alcohol. The main OKVED code that will need to be entered is:

93.04 – physical education and recreational activities.

The rest are selected depending on the areas in which the work will be carried out. In each case, this set will be individual.

Next, you will need to choose a tax system. There are two optimal options - UTII or simplified tax system.

To accept payments by bank transfer, you will need to open a bank account. Also, before registering a company, make sure that you have a complete package of documents for the premises:

  • a document confirming that the premises have been removed from the housing stock, if the sauna is opened in a multiple-family home;
  • official rental agreement, leasing agreement or certificate of ownership;
  • redevelopment project agreed upon with the Housing Inspectorate, the organization servicing the house, state architectural and construction supervision, SES service, Fire Inspectorate and Rospotrebnadzor.

Do not forget that the premises must meet all SanPiNov requirements.
