E111 - appears if the coolant temperature reaches 95 degrees. To correct this, press the Reset button and hold it down for several seconds;
E129 – if the fan rotation speed drops below the permissible threshold. You won’t be able to fix it yourself; we recommend calling a technician;
E153 – when the “Reset” button is accidentally pressed. You can restore previous values by holding the button pressed;
E154 – when liquid circulation stops. To find out, you will need to call and submit a request to the service center.

The boiler does not start

If the equipment cannot be started, it can be assumed that the reason is an incorrect electrical connection. This is possible with the Baxi Main 24 fi model. The electrical part cannot start the equipment if the phase and zero are incorrectly positioned. With this option, the display shows e01.

To resolve this you will need to take the following steps:

check the connection and, if necessary, swap the wires;
remove air from the system;
if necessary, add coolant.

After completing the steps, you need to restart the equipment and make sure that the e01 code disappears and is not displayed on the display.

It is impossible to turn on the heating at full power

Thermostat without display This situation has several explanations.
The main reason is incorrect setting of the pressure regulator. Another option is the occurrence of problems in the functioning of the diode bridge or valve. When such problems occur, e01 will be present on the screen. First of all, you need to check the settings and, if necessary, make the correct adjustments. If the problem is with the operation of the components, then most likely they will need to be replaced.

After starting the boiler it switches off

With such a problem, e01 will also be displayed on the display of the Baxi gas boiler. The main cause of this problem is low pressure in the gas line. If there are frequent interruptions in the main gas pipeline or the pressure is not stable, it is recommended to set the value to 5 mBar. It also happens that the heating does not turn on and the gas boiler does not give an error. In such cases, you should contact specialists.

The heating system is not at sufficient temperature

The main cause of the problem is an incorrect configuration. Typically this refers to setting the required thresholds. To eliminate the breakdown, it is necessary to adjust the parameters, adhering to the recommended values.

The equipment does not support the required parameters

Most often, the reason for this behavior is a problem with the electronic board, which is responsible for controlling the electronics.

Another option is a malfunction in the gas supply valve. It can be difficult to resolve the problem on your own. It may be necessary to test the performance of the board; if necessary, you will have to replace the non-working unit.

Sensors show incorrect value

In most cases, the cause of this behavior is the failure of one or more sensors. To return the equipment to working condition, you will need to find out which sensors have failed and replace the non-functioning components.

Popping sound when heating is turned on

If there is a pop when the equipment starts up and if Baksi does not light up immediately, then pay attention to the following possible options:

inconsistent pressure of blue fuel in the line. Error e01 appears;
the distance between the igniter does not correspond to the established parameters;
check the intensity of smoke emission.

Recommended Action: Lower the minimum limit to 5 mbar. If the recommended gap does not comply, adjust it. If there is excessive draft, adjust the intensity using the damper.

Temperature drop

The reason may lie not only in the functionality of the equipment. If such a situation arises and the gas consumption of the Baxi Main24 fi boiler is high, we advise you to check the functionality of the radiators and pipes. Pay attention to the filters; they may have accumulated rust or other impurities that interfere with the free movement of fluid in the system. From the presented material it is clear that many errors can be corrected independently. The fix does not require any experience or the use of expensive tools. But even if you can’t fix the situation yourself, using the information received, you can provide the technician with the necessary information over the phone. This will help the specialist take with him the necessary tools and spare parts.

Error e10

Malfunction e010 occurs when the signal from the hydraulic pressure switch disappears. An error with this code may be caused by the operation of a sensor that monitors water pressure. There have been cases where an error with such a code occurred when the contact between the relay and the electronic control board was lost.

There are four main causes of error e10:

Leaks in the heating system.
Failure of the expansion tank, or lack of air in it.
Failure of the water pressure sensor in the heating circuit.
Clogged “oblique” filter on the return line.

What could be the reasons for the error?

Here are the most likely reasons for the lack of draft in a gas boiler:

insufficient diameter of the exhaust channel (chimney) - design error, contamination with dirt, icing of the inner wall. The diameter of the chimney has decreased - the draft is insufficient.

exceeding the permissible length of smoke exhaust pipes. It is necessary to familiarize yourself with the manufacturer’s recommendations for installing the boiler and check that the necessary requirements are met. A horizontal section of the chimney pipe that is too long will result in a lack of necessary draft.

The pneumatic relay is faulty - the traction sensor. It is checked by the presence of a characteristic click when a vacuum is created in the supply tube (you can simulate it yourself).

missing or poor contact of the sensor with the board

Venturi device is faulty (melted or clogged)

the presence of condensate in the tube connecting the pneumatic relay with the Venturi device (true for boiler models without a special condensate collector)

incorrect connection of tubes to the pneumatic relay

For turbocharged boiler models:

fan is not working properly. May be due to clogging of the fan impeller, lack of sufficient lubrication on the fan shaft (does not develop the required speed)

lack of normal contact between the control board and the fan

malfunction of the boiler board (more common on LUNA (SLIM) series boilers)

Error e25

This error in Baksi boilers can also be caused by a large amount of air that has accumulated in the heating circuit. The airiness of the heating system contributes to the rapid heating of the coolant, and it is to this rapid heating that the electronics of the gas boiler reacts - it turns off the heating device, displaying error E25 on the screen. Also, the occurrence of this malfunction can be caused by a breakdown of the circulation pump, or failure of the temperature sensor. Most rarely, this error appears due to incorrect operation of the electronic control board, or lack of reliable contact between the circulation pump and the electronic control unit.

BAXI control board

Any gas boiler consists of actuators. This is a circulation pump, gas valve, heat exchanger, gas burner, ignition device, forced smoke removal system (for turbocharged models) and various sensors for monitoring the correct operation of the unit. The boiler operates fully automatically according to a pre-programmed algorithm, and the entire process is controlled by a control board. The operation of the automation of different boilers may differ, but in principle, as a rule, everything is the same. The whole process comes down to igniting the gas burner to heat the coolant and turning off the burner when heating needs to be stopped. Any gas boiler has a gas valve and an electrode. To ignite, the control board sends a signal to open the gas valve and high voltage to the electrodes. The electrodes are located with a small gap in relation to the burner and a spark, striking the body, ignites the gas. The process is absolutely the same as when igniting a household gas stove, only it occurs under electronic control. If, during the control process, incorrect signals are received from the control sensors, or do not arrive at all due to problems, the control board stops the operation of the boiler and displays an error on the display to the user, by the code of which it is possible to determine in which specific device system the problem occurred. There are different errors, some of them require eliminating the cause of their occurrence, some can simply be reset. The most common error codes are described in the boiler operating manual. Since a malfunction of the board itself cannot be ruled out, some codes in BAXI clearly indicate the need for its diagnosis and repair. It should be noted that this is a feature of BAXI. For example, Vaillant does not signal in any way about errors in the operation of the control unit itself.
